Hello hi, my name is Temilayo. You can call me Temilayo (or Layo, if I like you) but never Temi – I fear none of you will know me well enough to warrant that. I abhor writing bios, but I think it pertinent to say a little bit about why I started this blog. I loveee reading articles, and wanted an environment that was completely controlled by me to express myself. Writing for other people is lovely, but that always comes with a brief. Here, I can write about anything that tickles my fancy, and trust me, there’s a lot that tickles my fancy. The list of topics grows longer every week.

A little bit about me? I’m currently 23 and living in London (…adjacently). I work in fashion as a Creative and Art Director, and I love to read. Other hobbies include most things fashion related (consumption of both fashion media and clothes) and eating. I’m trying to get more into a diverse set of hobbies, as God keeps giving me free time. A core part of me if that I love God, even though life at the moment feels like He’s got a personal vendetta against me.

The goal is to get a blog post out every week from now on… but don’t hold me to that. I like my word to be my bond, so I shan’t make any promises LOL. Topics will range from restaurant reviews to romance ramblings, with a touch of quarter-life existentialism in between. Being a Christian (and a serious one at that) means that my life won’t feature the typical Gossip Girl-esque stories, but when I do deign to leave my house, I’m vowing to make the most of it… starting in January. Don’t worry though, you’ll never be bored.

I’m writing this ‘about me’ after a six month-long hiatus from posting, so if you’re new, there’s luckily a decent archive to catch up on. I hope you enjoy, and that you find me as funny as I find myself x
